Our Difference

  • Durable

Our premium plywood’s natural strength delivers exceptional performance in home environments. This robust material withstands impacts, knocks, and daily wear while maintaining its integrity over time. Unlike plasterboard alternatives that easily dent and damage, our birch plywood provides superior resistance to surface damage, making it the preferred choice for applications requiring long-term reliability and aesthetic appeal.

  • Aesthetic

Experience the natural beauty of our plywood, featuring distinctive grain patterns and warm tones that add character to any space. The light, clean appearance perfectly captures the popular Scandinavian aesthetic with its minimalist elegance. The smooth, consistent surface provides an ideal foundation for colour-washing, or clear coating to match your design vision.

  • Simple

Transform your space efficiently with our plywood's streamlined installation process. Unlike traditional wall lining solutions requiring multiple steps, painting, and cleanup, our premium plywood delivers a complete solution in one clean installation. The pre-finished surface eliminates the need for painting, reduces labour time, and minimizes site disruption.

Our Process

  • Firstly we apply the initial coat of choice, whether it be a colour-wash or a clear polyurethane coat.

  • Then we store the sheets in our drying racks until they are ready to be sanded.

  • Next we sand the boards to create a smooth surface, ready for the final coat.

  • After sanding we apply the final thick finishing coat of polyurethane to create a smooth polished finish.

  • And finally once the sheet is dried we have a moisture resistant, washable, evenly coated sheet that is ready to be installed.

Sustainability

  • Renewable Resource

Wood is a fast-growing, renewable resource that regenerates naturally through replanting and forest management. Unlike finite materials such as plasterboard, which relies on mined gypsum that depletes natural deposits and generates carbon emissions during manufacturing.

  • Reduced Waste

The production methods for manufacturing plywood generate minimal waste through efficient milling processes. Advanced techniques that slice logs into thin veneer layers maximize material utilization, with sawdust and wood chips from processing typically repurposed for other wood products.

  • Carbon Sink

Plywood acts as a carbon sink by absorbing atmospheric CO2 during tree growth and retaining that stored carbon even after processing. Unlike materials that release carbon during manufacturing, plywood continues to sequester carbon for decades in buildings and products.
